Mosaic CD mirror

While cleaning the house I stumbled upon quite a stack of CD's that were not working anymore or that I didn't use. And having a cheap mirror frame lying around for a while, for which I did not have a use yet, I combined the two and made a mosaic mirror frame. Make one yourself, and recycle, save money and have fun!

 Start out with a plain frame.

Cut a load of CD's in pieces. First you can paint the frame any color you want, as a base.

With Elmer glue, or any other strong glue, start sticking the pieces in your desired pattern.

How to turn old credit cards into pendants

 Cut an old credit card or gift card in four, pierce a small hole in one of the corners, sand it, and paint on it whatever you want with acrylic paint. When you're done painting, give them a coat of varnish or white glue. You can put a jump ring through the small hole and use them either as a keyring, earrings, pendants for necklaces etc. Mine are from left to right on the top picture: England, Ukraine, Germany and Finland. You can paint flags on them or make small artworks from them.

Diploma and creations

Today I got an e-mail from my school that my diploma is ready to be picked up. It got me rather confused though, because I thought there would be an official sort of ceremony, which takes place every year. On one hand it's better this way, so I am done with this school quicker, but a ceremony wouldn't have been bad... Well I'll see, one way or the other, it will be the last battle that I have to fight with college ever. I'm so glad I graduated!
